Rainbow Salt Writing Tray 🌈 – Montessori Activities

ages 3-6 🌈 Who doesn’t love rainbows?!?! This sensory writing tray is one of our favorites and perfect with St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner! ☘️ ✔️MATERIALS NEEDED: – Construction Paper in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple
– Scotch tape
– Baking sheet
– Salt
– Paintbrush
💡WHAT TO DO:
1️⃣ Cut strips of construction paper about 2.5 inches thick.
2️⃣ Tape them together with clear tape. 3️⃣ Flip it over so the Tape is in the bottom and place the rainbow in a baking sheet.
4️⃣ Finally, add some salt and your 🌈 writing tray is complete! 👍🏻I gave Oliver a paintbrush and asked him to write the words he saw on the flash cards. He was just learning to read so I focused on simple words, but letters, numbers or shapes would work well for this activity too!
