ACORN SENSORY PLAY – Montessori Activities

🌰Do your kids like to collect acorns? What do you guys do with them?
🌰My kids love to collect acorns in October! We use the for target and toss play🎯, kitchen pretending play🍲, for crafts🎨! But this time we decided to make an acorn bin to play one great sensory game focusing on our sense of touch!
I hide the stone into the acorns and let kids find it 🔎with their eyes closed😎. Through the touch 🙌they try to feel and analyze the size, the shape, the texture of the objects to find the correct one✅!
You can add other fall objects to your bin, like leaves, nuts, pine cones, bark..
