GARDEN FINE MOTOR PLAY – Montessori Activities
🥕🥬 Arman loves our mini garden with real vegetables! We were planted them, and then harvesting using different tools ! Little gardener didn’t even understand how well he worked on his fine motor skills while picking veggies , because the grip with tweezers and scissors-spoons develops small hand and finger muscles! And the addition of sensory bin and vegetables made this game truly sensory! Instead of buckwheat, you can make your garden with peas, beans, rice (you can even dye it), sand or potting soil itself 🙂 This time we planted mini carrots and Brussels sprouts😁, but you can play with mini tomatoes, broccoli, small potatoes, cauliflower , onions and so on!
🥕🥬At the same time, we we were talking about veggies smell, color, shape, texture to engage all the sensors and speech! For the older kids, you can add simple math by giving tasks how many veggies to collect or planted!
